Kimberly Shirrell West known to most people as "K West" was born in Jackson, Mississippi to Mr. Robert and Teresa West. Her parents own West Restaurant and Lounge located in the heart of Jackson, Mississippi. Kimberly attended Provine High School and later Jackson State University where she attained a degree in Political Science. Upon graduation Kimberly secured a job at one of The Big Four Accounting Firms in the world. She is also a model, dancer, singer and writer. Kimberly started her own modeling/entertainment group in 2007 of last year "The K West Showstoppers." This group consists of 16 ladies who are mothers, daughters, sisters, and wives who came together because they like to have fun and entertain. Their motto is WE ARE ENTERTAINMENT AT ITS' BEST. They have done numerous shows and hosting events around the Mississippi area. The K West Showstoppers cover all aspects in the entertainment business from modeling (runway, fashion and hair shows), promotions, and hosting. K West is currently working on her R&B CD entitled Let Da Truth Be Told which should be out at the end of this year. She has done collaborations with Bambino, Rain Man, King Allahzay of 601 Playaz, Infinite, Lil Jones and a host of others. She has worked with producers Drummer, Lil Jones, Yung Classic, E of Causin Drama Entertainment and D J Brad (formerly of The Legion of Doom). She plans on moving to Atlanta, Georgia or either Houston, Texas to pursue her music and model aspirations further.
